How each app actually works
Feeld is a profile app for open-minded dating: you state desires, interests and relationship structure, you can link a partner, and connections behave like a normal chat. Pure is closer to a personal ads board with disappearing chats, built so that nothing sticks around. Feeld asks you to describe yourself. Pure asks you what you want right now.
Privacy, two different definitions
Feeld's privacy is about control: who can see you, what you show, and keeping your dating life separate from your social one. Pure's privacy is about erasure: short-lived ads and messages that vanish. Decide which one you actually need, because they are not interchangeable.
The free tier decides your first fortnight
Feeld's free tier is functional enough to create a profile, explore, connect and message. Pure typically wants a subscription before you can chat, which makes it a bad way to test whether your city has anyone on it. Start on Feeld even if Pure sounds more like you.
Who you actually meet
Feeld's crowd is broad: couples, singles, curious people, and it skews a bit older and more considered. Pure's is smaller, faster and more concentrated in cities. If your area is quiet, Feeld is the only one of the two likely to show you anybody in week two.
Safety and expectations
Both offer reporting and blocking, and neither runs background checks. Both are good about not demanding a real name. On either, be clear about boundaries in writing before you meet, video call first, and tell someone where you are going.
