Pick your depth

How deep should we go?

We score all 23 apps we have reviewed against your answers. More answers, sharper result.

There is no single best dating app, only the one that fits how you want to date right now. Pick a quick, standard or in-depth run, answer honestly, and you get three apps with fit scores, the ones your dealbreakers already ruled out, and a plan for your first month on the winner.

How the dating app quiz works

You choose how long you want to spend: ten questions for a quick read, eighteen for a standard run, thirty if you want the sharpest answer. Questions cover your goal, who you want to meet, your age band, pace, budget, privacy and how far you would travel. Some answers add points, others rule apps out completely, so the result explains itself.

What apps can it recommend?

Every app we have reviewed is in the pool, twenty-three of them, from Hinge, Tinder and Bumble to HER, Feeld, Grindr, Stir, SilverSingles and Raya. Niche apps are not buried, so if your answers point at a smaller app that fits you better than a mainstream one, it wins.

What you get at the end

A dater type that explains your pattern, three apps with fit percentages and an honest catch for each, the runners-up if you want to keep looking, the dealbreakers that removed apps before scoring, and a four week plan for the app that came out on top. You can copy your result or share a link that reopens it.

Why trust this recommendation

Every app in the pool is independently reviewed and re-checked for pricing, safety and audience changes. We do not take commissions to bump scores, and nothing you answer leaves your browser.
